Much of his work leverages machine learning and natural language processing to address key questions in economics and finance. His current focus is on developing measures of beliefs with applications to asset pricing and behavioral economics. Before Booth, he received a PhD in financial economics from the Yale School of Mangement, a master’s degree in statistics from the University of Michigan, and completed his undergraduate degree in economics at the University of Chicago.Faculty Host: John ConlonSeminars are open to all but seating is limited.You are welcome to bring your own lunch.
