Our own Professor Roger Dannenberg has written an opera! After thrilling audiences in Spain and Mexico, Roger is producing a new English-language production of The Mother of Fishes in Pittsburgh on Saturday, Feb. 15 at 7:00 pm and Sunday, Feb. 16 at 2:00 pm in CAPA Theater, 111 9th Street (downtown). Come and let the radiant music draw you into an enchanting story. Enjoy a mythical journey while sharing the lives of characters who will touch your heart.

Featuring a 30-piece orchestra: Alia Musica Pittsburgh, 6 soloists, the CAPA Chorus, live electronics by CAPA Antithesis, the opera is conducted by Federico Garcia-De Castro, directed by Seamus Ricci, costumes by Hedy Hurban, and assisted by many CMU faculty and alumni.
